DAD

It took me about a month to complete this poem ..but will take more than a lifetime to forget you dad...



God

He took
....the strength of a mountain ...
....the majesty of a tree
....the warmth of a summer sun
....the calm of a quiet sea

God
He sought
....the generous soul of nature
....the comforting cool of the night
....the wisdom of ages
....the power of an eagle's flight

God
He recalled
....the joy of a morning in spring
....the faith of of a geminating seed
....the patience of eternity
....the depth of a family's need


Then God

when He combined
all these qualities
In one person indeed
He knew
his masterpiece was complete

God smiled
when there is nothing more to add
And so this person ......He called him DAD !!!
